Life Management Skills Curriculum
The Life Management program is cumulative. Each year/class is vastly different but builds upon the previous year. However, if a student doesn’t take the 6th and/or 7th grade class, there is a brief review of the previous program.
6th Grade Life Management Skills Course Description
This is a ten-week course that consists of issues that directly apply to the middle school student’s current lifestyle. The class deals with Life Management issues such as nutrition, healthy decision-making, introductory sewing skills, citizenship, and giving back to the community. These topics are reinforced with hands-on activities and projects.
