East RoboRockets Fundraiser May 17th at McDonald's 4 - 7PM

East Middle School's RoboRockets team joined 61 robotics teams from around the world including Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, Columbia, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Spain and the United States in Lakeland, Florida to participate in the FLL World Invitational Open Robotics Tournament May 3-6. 

HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMY APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 18

Eighth Graders who are interested in joining one of the academic Academies (STEM, International and Arts) for their 9th grade year must fill out an online application by May 18 at 3:00 p.m.

Outside Festival scheduled for May 18th

On May 18, 2012 from 3-5:00 p.m., East is having a carnival-themed festival!  Pre-sale tickets will cost $4.00 and be sold during lunch.

Tickets at the door will cost $5.00.


We will have skee ball, basketball toss, hit the can, godfish bowl game, a dunk tank and sno-cones.

The P-CCS Parent Survey will be available to complete beginning Friday, May 18 through Monday, June 11, 2012 (a three week window). 

 

Canned Food Drive A Success!!

Thank you to all who donated canned food during our Food Fight with Central Middle School.  Central collected 667 pounds of food and East collected 397 pounds of food.

While Central was the declared winner, the real winners are the families that Gleaners supports here in Southeastern Michigan!

Thank you again for helping East fight hunger!
