Collage Concert Field Trip Scheduled for February 10th - 8th Grade
Your eighth grade student will be bringing home a Field Trip Permission Form today outlining the upcoming trip to P-CEP for the Collage Concert.
Each year the eighth graders attend this assembly so they can be exposed to all the Visual Arts programs the high school has to offer.
The permission form says they will be attending the 10:45 a.m. presentation; however that has changed. The eighth graders will now be leaving East at 9:00 a.m. and will see the presentation at 9:30 a.m. They will arrive back at East at approximately 10:40 a.m.
8th Graders will be taking the ACT Explore Test on February 7th
All 8th grade students will be taking the ACT Explore Test on February 7, 2012. A letter was sent home with your eighth grader on Monday, January 23, 2012 outlining the specifics of this test.
Attached is a copy of that letter for your convenience.
Please remember: Make-ups are not allowed for this test. In addition, if your child arrives late to school on test day, he/she will need to wait in the office until the testing period is over (which will be from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
